Poongmul Camp Check List

Things to Bring

1.       Bring Instrument or Rent it ($20) (Contact KCON latest in a week advance to rent an instrument.)

2.       Cotton sash to tie the instruments to play standing-up.

3.       Writing instrument + notebook

4.       Sleeping bag or similar (There are beds and mattresses but NO beddings!)

5.       Long sleeve clothing (Nights get really cold and we will have a camp fire.)

6.       Comfy clothing to wear during practices. Go check the weather in case of rain.

Check Weather

7.       Personal Hygiene items (soap, shampoo, tooth brush, towel, etc.)

8.       Wear Sneakers! No Flip Flops! (For your safety, we will not allow wearing flip flops for practices and playing instruments.)

9.       Flash Light, Sun Block, Bug Spray will be very helpful!

 

Reminder

1.       More than 5 people will be sleeping in each cabin. (The cabins have electricity.)

2.       The meals will be provided (Mostly Korean food). There will be NO choice for the menu. For Vegetarians and Vegans, Please bring your own food.

4.      The Camp site has very poor cell phone reception. (To reach KCON staff during the camp, contact us via camp site phone line 845-887-6254)

5.       Mark or label your instruments. (There will be hundreds of instruments. It will be easy to lose them if you don’t label them.)

6.       Camp fee ($100/person) will be collected upon arrival of the camp site during the registration. Please pay Cash! No credit card! No checks!

7.       If you are leaving the camp site for any reason, you MUST confirm with the camp director or designated staffs before you leave!

8.       No pets allowed.

9.       DO NOT bring valuables and/or too much cash!
