"CAMP MUJIGAE is a Korean cultural education camp for Korean Adoptees. This year's Camp Mujigae marks its 20th event and it has developed tremendously over the years, garnering attentions not just from other people in the Northeastern area but also from young people in Korea.
KCON has been involved in this meaningful event since 2002 and this year, some committed poongmulians are coming to show and teach our sound, Poongmul.
After two and a half day with classes (Thurs-Friday), on Saturday (afternoon), we have the FAMILY DAY where everyone comes to celebrate our annual event before we say good-bye until the next time. And poongmul performance has always been great on this day".
Culture classes including instruments will be held on 6/29 and 6/30. Family day will be held on Saturday.

Jishinbalpgi ("Stepping on the Spirit of the Earth") is a Korean folk ritual celebrating the beginning of the Lunar New Year (usually within the first 15 days of the first lunar month). This ritual of drummers, costumed dancers, flag bearers, and the community cleanses the village and chases away bad spirits, and at the same time, ushers in peace and blessings for the new year, renews personal ties, and fosters a greater sense of community.
Join us at one or all five ritual processions throughout the Philadelphia area!
