DDKY, NYURI, HoEup and Charm receives instrument support from KCON & Korean Cultural Services
In its attemp to help spread of Poongmul among Korean-Americans in the U.S., KCON joins hands with Korean Cultural Services to distribute instruments to much needed audiences, the school Poongmul groups. DDKY of Stony Brook, NYURI of NYU, HoEup of Columbia and Barnard and Charm of FIT receives Kwaenggari, Jing, JangGoos and Bhooks during the ceremony.

SoRi-MoRi Philadelphia Korean Cultural Troupe is a group of Koreans in Philadelphia engaging in the traditional Korean folk art of POONGMUL. Through POONGMUL we:
(1) learn about and share Korean's "Min-Jung" heritage;
(2) re-discover our identities and our roots as Koreans in America; and
(3) discuss and act on different social, cultural, political, and economic issues impacting on our communities.
